  心地良い南風（ナンプウ）。1993年6月1日。
　乾いた風と陽の光。悩みはなく、樹々は夏を唄う。草は伸び、猫達は木陰で惰眠を貪る。
　クルマよりは自転車、そして海へ行こう。子供達は走り回って汗をかき、ゴクゴクと水を飲む。
　こんな気持ちのいい日は一年に何度もない。こんな日には長良川の川原に寝転がっていたい。働くにはもったいない天気だ。

　環境、エネルギー、情報化社会、人工の爆発、農業の未来、都会、そしてヒトのココロ。あらゆる事を唄うために言葉はあり、この世界のあらゆる事を感ずるためにメロディがある。

　この素晴らしい一瞬を忘れないために、旅と生活と僕ら自身の事を唄い続けていくために「夏の楽園」というコンサートを考えています。
　人の数だけの考え方があり、人の数だけのやり方があります。僕らはそれぞれの感じ方で気持ち良く暮らし、それぞれの聴き方で音楽を聴いています。それぞれの参加の仕方でこの「夏の楽園」を楽しんでください。
