ガンダルフ

九月の第二週の終わりに、二輪荷馬車が一台、やって来ました。老人がただ一人御者台で馬を進めていました。長くて先のとんがった青い帽子をかぶり、灰色の長いマントを着て、銀色のスカーフを巻いた老人でした。長い白いあごひげと帽子のつばより長く突き出したもじゃもじゃ眉毛の持ち主でした。ビルボの家の玄関前で、老人は荷物を降ろし始めました。この老人こそ魔法使いのガンダルフでした。
